THE COMFORT (94) (al-nashrah)

Number of Verses: 8

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, (94:1)

relieved you of the burden (2)

which had been a heavy weight upon your back (3)

and granted you an exalted reputation? (4).

After every difficulty there is relief (5).

Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief (6).

When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) (7) and be devoted to your Lord's service (8).
