WORLDLY GAINS (102) (al-takathur)

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), (102:1)

until you come to the graves (102:2).

You shall know (102:3).

You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds) (102:4).

You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt (102:5).

You will be shown hell (102:6)

and you will see it with your own eyes (102:7).

Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God) (102:8).
