Al-Tawwâb: The Acceptor of Repentance

"Then Adam learned words of inspiration from his Lord and his Lord turned towards him for He is the Acceptor of Repentance (Al-Tawwâb)" (2:37).

The Acceptor of Repentance continues to accept repentance from Allah's creatures time and timeagain. It shows them Allah's warnings with the intent that--having been made aware of the dangers of their sins--they might be filled with fear of Allah and subsequently turn to Allah in repentance. Through Allah's accepting the evidence of their repentance, the favor of Allah once again reverts to them.
